WHILL is excited to be attending the 2016 Spinal Injury Games!   The annual Spinal Injury Games are designed for the beginning or novice wheelchair sports enthusiast. They provide an excellent opportunity for participants to experience a variety of wheelchair sports. This event allows the participants to actively participate in meaningful life fulfilling leisure pursuits thus acquiring a vast knowledge of opportunity and resources which attribute to a greater quality of life and over-all health maintenance. The games are free to all participants. Each registered participant will receive a free T-shirt and lunch will be provided for all athletes. Disability Resource Fair at Chabot College

In honor of Disability Awareness Month, Chabot College Disabled Students Programs & Services (DSPS) and CRIL will host a Disability Resource Fair on October 20, 2016 from 11:00am-2:00pm. There will be community vendors including, WHILL, Access Ingenuity, VA, Department of Rehab, BART, and BORP to answer questions, share available services, and demonstrate products, as well as live entertainment and refreshments! The event will take place at Chabot College Cesar Chavez Courtyard in front of the DSRC building (#2400), bookstore, and cafeteria.
