Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to plan, execute, and oversee all site operations to ensure quality products get to customer on time. The Warehouse Operations Manager will report to the CFO/COO, and manage logistics and as well as a service team responsible for product configurations, repairs, and shipping. This position will work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure customer service and quality metrics are exceeded.
This position requires a detail oriented, organized individual who has strong problem solving skills and can make decisions at a leadership level. In addition to running day to day operations, this individual will need to constantly test and implement more efficient procedures by thinking analytically and creatively. Ideally the applicant will have previous experience with heavy equipment logistics, multi-channel distribution networks, or medical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the U.S. warehouse and logistics operations
  • Manage product inventory and service teams
  • Create and maintain a safe and organized warehouse
  • Maintain product device histories and customer records
  • Process relevant regulatory documents through our document control system
  • Occasionally configure and repair devices
  • Provide a monthly budget to the CFO
  • Work closely with sales for forecasting demand
  • Interface with our suppliers to place orders and report any quality issues
  • Develop new procedures and work flows to increase efficiency and decrease costs
  • Be a liaison between all WHILL teams and our logistics services

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience as an Warehouse Operations Manager
  • Excellent follow through, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness, and operations management
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to travel between San Carlos (office) and South San Francisco (warehouse)
  • Previous logistics experience with heavy equipment, multi-channel distribution networks, or medical devices is a plus

 


 

Regional Sales Manager

Job Information

We are currently seeking the talent and energies of a proven sales professional who will represent WHILL as a Regional Sales Manager based for the Western sales region. We are looking for an experienced closer who is not afraid to cold call and is capable of taking a deal from inception to final closing. We are looking for someone who has experience working with distribution partners to accelerate sales quickly. We are looking for a hunter who has the polish and skills to work with major organizations.

Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will ensure the sale of WHILL products through multiple distribution channels. This outside sales position offers you the opportunity to play a vital role in increasing market penetration within the Western territory (CA, NV, AZ, CO). This is an individual contributor role with a primary focus of selling WHILL products through resellers and distributors.

In this critical sales role, you will have a successful track record and relevant experience selling medical products to a variety of distribution channels. You have experience identifying sales opportunities, through various channel partners, developing relationships, and working with these partners to sign contracts and generate sales that meet revenue targets. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced sales environment, be creative, independent, focused and an excellent problem solver.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets within the CA, NV, AZ, CO territory.
  • Qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, and general prospecting including cold calling and networking in the region.
  • Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects.
  • Develop territory strategy, including channel leverage for each account.
  • Accurately forecast revenue for territory and accounts, maintain contact information, business history and opportunity details in salesforce.com.
  • Travel extensively in territory to develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, with a strong ability to articulate the value proposition and product differentiation.
  • Assist in the negotiation and completion of agreements with sales targets, ensuring terms that maximize the company’s sales and margin goals.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers, prospects and channel partners.
    May need to travel outside of the sales territory to attend marketing events and company meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years medical device sales experience, specifically outside territory sales
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills
  • Must have a solid, working knowledge of salesforce.com
  • Excellent follow through, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • This position requires the ability to travel frequently within the designated territory
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills

Inside Sales/Sales Operations

Job Description

This position plays a vital sales role in WHILL’s revenue engine throughout North America. We’re looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual who has a passion for sales, and thrives in an environment that is challenging yet rewarding.

You are a partner to the field sales team helping to insure they are more productive and efficient in order to expedite the sales cycle. This position is also responsible for sales operations. Through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence, you help shape how we maximize our business performance.   • Proven track record of lead qualification and sales pipeline management
  • Able to quickly understand customer needs, present value-added solutions and determine willingness to buy
  • Maintain product and industry knowledge in order to build value-added, consultative information to channel partners
  • Create and manage sales pipeline opportunities throughout the sales cycle, and maintain sales forecasts
  • Provide regular reports on sales progress, detailing company defined KPIs, and tracking actuals vs. forecasts using salesforce.com
  • Team with regional sales managers to ensure co-ordination of activities to achieve sales targets
  • Close working relationship with the lead generation marketing team to insure qualified leads are properly codified and handed off to the appropriate channel partner
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with channel marketing to drive new incremental business

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years medical device inside sales or sales operations experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com to effectively manage sales pipeline and forecast
  • Experience in working opportunities with channel partners, outside sales, and channel marketing
  • Excellent follow through, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
